Khedi hotel by Ginza Project is located in one of the oldest districts of Tbilisi, Avlabari, not far from the holy trinity cathedral of Tbilisi and the bridge of peace.

The hotel deserves its name (ხედი means view) as its rooms have a panoramic view of the roofs of the old town and modern blocks, the embankment of zviad gamsakhurdia and the mountains surrounding the city.

Conception

The second block decorated by the designer Evgeny Evdokimov from Odessa features warm paints, a two-hundred year tree and facture fabrics. The two moods, two approaches to the space praise the Georgian culture and workmanship combined with care of the guests’ comfort and home-like feeling

“Khedi” hotel. All furniture is made of high-quality wood, and furniture upholstery is made of natural cotton and wool. In the center of the hotel is a garden, a cozy relaxation space with hanging hammocks, woven furniture and hanging chairs. The abundance of live plants both in the hotel and in the restaurant space is especially noteworthy.

The hotel comprises two distinct buildings, with the first building’s design credited to renowned Georgian designer Nia Mgaloblishvili. The rooms are designed in the restrained neoclassical style with bright colorful decorative elements Shelves are lined with books and plaster busts, there’s a winged Hermes and a black marble table designed specifically for the “Khedi” by the design bureau.
Calm atmosphere, gradation of warm green colors and furniture made of natural wood will make you feel at home, it is worth noting the design of the corridor carpet which is a topographical map of the city and the bed of the river Mtkvari goes to the rooms. Creative lighting sets the mood of the hotel and an open fireplace adds a mysterious atmosphere to the environment.
